Genomatique

Genomatique is our entry level data integration offering to the bioinformatics teaching and research community. To the best of our knowledge, this is the FIRST bioinformatics appliance offered in a plug n play fashion that does not require any sophisticated server–client setup.

Genomatique is conceived to impress upon the young researchers and students about the power and utility of integrated data mining with the FIVE most widely used public domain databases viz. Genbank, Swissprot, Trembl, Enzyme and PDB. It is based on our proprietary data integration platform XMELD and uses the open standard formats such as XML and XQUERY.

The highly user friendly GUI with graphical querying form allows the end users to setup their own knowledge base in a matter of few hours rather weeks. The appliance is bundled with enough storage space that would allow the end users to update and use the installed databases up to one year.

Another advantage of this plug n play appliance is it’s ability to get automatically updated with out any efforts from the end users. All the databases are preconfigured with brokers to fetch the latest updates regularly and populate the existing databases with out any downtime.
